Registration Instructions

List of Examination Centres

This is a common application form for:   *   B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science   *   B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics and Physics You need not select your programme at the time of applying. The choice can be made after admission

Please follow the given checklist and be ready with the following for registration: 1. Your passport size photo in .jpg, .jpeg or .gif format (the file size should not be more than 100 kb) 2. Your school marks in Mathematics and Physics/Science
	Click on the 'I Agree' button to accept the Terms and Conditions. Next fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
	Click on 'Save and Continue' to choose a password and the hint questions that will be asked if you forget your password. Then click on 'Save and Continue' to register. The screen will now display your CMIUG ID.
	After successful registration, you will get an email containing your CMIUG ID and password. Use this CMIUG ID for all future correspondence. Use this CMIUG ID and password to enter the online application form and to make any modification to the details provided by you.
	The screen will now display the 'Make Payment' options.
	Details about the entrance examination, including the syllabus and sample questions, are available on the website www.cmi.ac.in/admissions

Payment Instructions

Demand Draft: Get a demand draft from any bank for Rs. 600/- in favour of "Chennai Mathematical institute" payable at Chennai. Write your CMIUG ID and name at the backside of the DD. Choose the mode of Payment as DD in "Make Payment" Tab and click "Submit". Take a print of the payment advice form, sign and send it by speed post or courier along with the DD to the Chennai Mathematical Institute at, Chennai Mathematical Institute Attn: B.Sc Application form, H1, SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri, Kelambakkam, Chennai 603 103. Ph: 044 6748 0900 You need not send a printed copy of the application form with your payment.

The Chennai Mathematical Institute will authenticate the payment details and will send you an email confirming the payment for CMIUG 2014. You will be able to view your Admit Card only after your payment is authenticated.

Admit Card Instructions

Admit Card should be printed from the website only. This facility will be available from May 01, 2014 to May 14, 2014. Ensure the following Print the Admit Card online. Candidates shall preserve the Admit Card till the Admission process of Chennai Mathematical Institute is over. If the Admit Card is lost, no duplicate card will be issued. Bring the Admit Card to the Test Centre in addition to a photo-identity card. The photo-identity card can be a government issued document like a passport or an identity card or letter attested by your school/college/employer. Results of the entrance examination will be announced on the CMI Website www.cmi.ac.in  by June 20,2014. Successful candidates will be intimated by post.

Terms and Conditions

Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) reserves the right to re-schedule the test and/or the test centre at its sole discretion, as warranted by the circumstances. CMI reserves the exclusive right to reject any application without assigning any reasons thereof. A non-refundable fee of Rs.600/- for online applications is payable by every candidate at the time of registration for CMI admissions, 2014. All disputes in this regard are subject to the legal jurisdiction of Chennai. All information pertaining to CMI admissions, 2014 will be posted on the website http://www.cmi.ac.in/admissions, and no separate communication will be sent to the individual candidates. Other information, if any, will be communicated to the individuals concerned through the email address provided by the candidate at the time of registration for CMI admissions, 2014. The ADMIT CARD for the CMI entrance examination, 2014 will be available on the web site for the candidates to view, download and print out.
